Patrick Kluivert blackmailed by betting syndicate
The PSG sports director is being blackmailed by a betting syndicate since 2010 reports the Dutch newspaper ‘De Volkskrant’. Kluivert betted on matches of FC Twenties’ first team in while he was coach of Twente’s B team in 2011 and 2012. Those days the Dutch FA had no regulations in place forbidding such betting practices. The link between Kluivert and the syndicate came to light when a special Tax and Customs Administration unit started a investigation into the syndicate. Sofar there has been no indication or proof that Kluivert has been involved in match fixing.
