Improve your knowledge, improve your game!

The regulations regarding Intermediaries (players agents) are expected to change again. The UEFA, FIFPRO, ECA and EFPL announced earlier this year that under the umbrella of the 'EU sectoral social dialogue committee' they will be working together on a proposal to change the current system. The plan is to establish: a. reasonable, proportionate cap on fees for intermediaries/agents; b, enhanced transparency, disclosures and accountability; c. appropriate and dissuasive sanctions in case of non-compliance; d. stronger provisions to protect minors in their relations with intermediaries/agents; e. an efficient monitoring and enforcement framework. Everybody active as an agent should have a thorough knowledge of the national and international regulations and a basic knowledge of labour law. It's not just about 'having a great player' !!!
