“ Afonso Carinhas or simply Carinhas is a nineteen years old midfielder currently based between Switzerland and United Kindgdom.

Carinhas was born in Lisbon, Portugal in 3.6.1999. He started playing futsal by the age of 5 in a local Lisbon club. His coach, Bruno, was a former scout of Sporting CP. In 2009, after several seasons winning personal awards by the Portuguese Futsal Association, Bruno took Carinhas to Sporting CP for a scouting session of Football but due to familiar decisions, he had to deny the opportunity.

Between 2009 and 2017, Carinhas has played for G.S.Carcavelos and MTBA, he was the key for both teams. His defensive skills and passes were very important for winnings against teams like Sevilla (Ibercup Tournement), SL Benfica and many others.

In 2018, while living in London, Carinhas was scouted by an english coach that took him for West Ham Chadwell Heath Academy, he stayed there for 4 months before moving to Lausanne, in Switzerland.
