“ Started career age 15 with Exeter City youth development, signing first professional contract in 2005. Played over 100 games for the club and captained them to a play-off final victory and promotion to Football League One.

Signed for Southampton in January 2010, playing over 100 games and gaining promotion from Football League One to theChampionship and then again to thePremiership. Whilst at Southampton, I had loan spells at Championship side Charlton Athletic and helped Bournemouth win promotion to the Championship.

After a successful loan spell and permanent contract at Coventry City, where I captained the team for the final three months of my time there, I signed a two year contract with Scottish Premier League side, Partick Thistle in August 2014, playing over 60 games and captaining the team for a spell.
