Josh made the step up and signed for League 2 Dagenham and Redbridge in July 2009 scoring on his debut against Cardiff City away in the League cup. Became the first player to score four goals in a play- off match as Dagenham beat Morecambe 6-0 in the League Two Play-off semi final first leg. Helped Dagenham achieve promotion to League 1 in 2009-2010 season, the highest position the club achieved in their history.
